Our crawler patchletterBot/1.0 goes through vendors’ public release notes, download directories and feeds once a day and spots new versions that way. It sticks to robots.txt and sends conditional requests (ETag/Last-Modified). It makes no more than one request every 2 seconds per host.

Please carry through our upstream sources — support and End-of-Life dates come from endoflife.date, and the “actively exploited” flag comes from the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog. patchletter aggregates public vendor release notes; it does not scan or access your systems.
