The mark
A lowercase “p” — an open ring and a short stem — with two chevrons rising above it: a version jumping upward, the patch. The stem and ring sit in ink; the chevrons carry the indigo accent, the upper one at half strength.
Name & wordmark
Always one word, all lowercase: “patchletter” — never “PatchLetter”, “Patchletter” or “patch letter”. In the wordmark, “patch” is bold ink and “letter” is a muted grey.
Color
A single indigo accent does all the emphasizing; the rest is a warm, near-neutral stone palette.

Space Grotesk for the wordmark and display, IBM Plex Sans for text, IBM Plex Mono for versions and data.
Using the mark
- ✓Keep clear space around it — at least the height of the ring.
- ✓Use the dark-background version on dark grounds.
- ✓Scale it as one unit; the chevrons and “p” belong together.
- ✕Don’t recolor the chevrons or the accent.
- ✕Don’t stretch, rotate or add effects.
- ✕Don’t rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
