Adminer im Überblick
Adminer ist ein Datenbank-Verwaltungswerkzeug, das aus einer einzigen PHP-Datei besteht — eine schlanke Alternative zu phpMyAdmin für MySQL, PostgreSQL und weitere Datenbanken. Das Projekt veröffentlicht regelmäßige Releases plus Sicherheitsfixes.
Für Admins ist die wichtigste Regel: Adminer NIE dauerhaft ungeschützt ins Internet — es gibt direkten Datenbankzugriff und war Ziel automatisierter Angriffe; in der Vergangenheit gab es auch in Adminer selbst sicherheitsrelevante Fixes (etwa SSRF), weshalb ein aktueller Stand wichtig ist. Die Ein-Datei-Bauweise macht Updates trivial (Datei tauschen), verleitet aber dazu, alte Versionen liegen zu lassen. Idealerweise wird Adminer nur bei Bedarf hochgeladen und danach wieder entfernt oder per Zugriffsbeschränkung/VPN geschützt. Für dauerhaften Zugriff ist ein SSH-Tunnel zur lokalen Instanz sicherer als eine erreichbare Web-Datei.
