TeamViewer is a widely used remote-access and support tool. TeamViewer ships frequent client updates for all platforms; the client can update itself, and in managed environments the packages are pushed through software distribution.

For admins the priority is prompt updates and tight access control: as remote-access software with system-level reach, it is a high-value target, so keep clients current and secure the account (strong credentials, two-factor, allowlists, and the security options that restrict unattended access). Alongside the desktop client, older versions on personal or rarely-used devices are the classic weak spot — enforce a minimum version.
