Uptimeify at a glance
Uptimeify is a cloud-based white-label monitoring platform used primarily by agencies, MSPs and web service providers to keep track of the availability of client websites and infrastructure from a single dashboard. Administrators can configure uptime, SSL, DNS, ping, SSH, FTP and mail-protocol checks as well as multi-step browser flows and heartbeat checks for background jobs. Failures are confirmed from multiple European locations before an incident opens, and alerts are routed through multi-step, time-based escalation to the responsible on-call staff.
Because Uptimeify runs as a hosted service, there is no locally installed software and no traditional version upgrades for administrators to manage. New features, monitor types and API changes are rolled out server-side and documented in a changelog.
When following changes, sysadmins should pay particular attention to updates to the REST API, webhooks and notification channels, since these can affect existing integrations with ticketing or portal systems. Changes to status pages, white-label domains and SMTP delivery are equally relevant for ongoing operations.
