Argo CD im Überblick
Argo CD ist das verbreitete GitOps-Werkzeug für Kubernetes — es hält Cluster deklarativ im Zustand eines Git-Repositories. Das CNCF-Projekt veröffentlicht regelmäßige Releases mit mehreren gepflegten Minor-Linien; Sicherheitsfixes verdienen Priorität, da Argo CD weitreichende Deploy-Rechte im Cluster hat.
Für Admins ist die zeitnahe Aktualisierung wichtig — vergangene Lücken erlaubten teils Rechteausweitung. Updates innerhalb einer Minor-Linie sind unkritisch; über Major-Grenzen die Upgrade-Hinweise (RBAC-, API- und CRD-Änderungen) beachten. Das UI und die API gehören hinter SSO und nicht offen ins Netz. Da Argo CD Cluster-Credentials und Repo-Zugänge kennt, sind restriktive RBAC-Regeln und getrennte Projekte die zentralen Betriebswerkzeuge — nicht optional in Mehrmandanten-Umgebungen.
