Wazuh im Überblick
Wazuh ist eine quelloffene SIEM- und XDR-Plattform — sie sammelt Logs, erkennt Bedrohungen, prüft Integrität und unterstützt Compliance. Das Projekt veröffentlicht regelmäßig Releases für Manager, Indexer, Dashboard und Agents; als Sicherheitswerkzeug mit Sicht auf die gesamte Infrastruktur ist die eigene Absicherung besonders wichtig.
Beim Update zählt die Reihenfolge und Versionsgleichheit der Komponenten (Indexer, Manager, Dashboard, Agents) — die Upgrade-Anleitung nennt sie präzise. Agents sind rückwärtskompatibel, sollten aber nachgezogen werden. Die Plattform hält sensible Sicherheitsdaten; sie gehört ins Management-Netz mit aktivierter Authentifizierung und TLS. Vor Major-Sprüngen die Regelsätze und eigenen Decoder auf Kompatibilität prüfen und ein Backup der Konfiguration ziehen.
