AIOStreams at a glance
AIOStreams is an open-source project run as a self-hosted server (e.g. via Docker) that consolidates results from numerous Stremio addons plus debrid and Usenet providers into a single, customizable feed. Sysadmins operating private media servers or Stremio infrastructure use it to bundle multiple third-party addons, deduplicate results, and centrally manage access rules instead of configuring each addon separately.
Development happens actively on GitHub with frequent releases, including both regularly versioned builds and automated nightly builds. New features, bug fixes, and adjustments to changing third-party APIs are shipped at short intervals as a result.
When updating, be aware that configuration formats and environment variables can change between versions, since the project is under active development. Back up the configuration and review the changelog for breaking changes before upgrading, especially when switching between nightly and stable releases. Running the service behind a reverse proxy with its own access protection is advisable, since it handles sensitive third-party credentials.
