Check Point Gaia is the operating system running Check Point's security gateways and management servers — enterprise firewall and threat-prevention appliances. For admins the update discipline is enterprise-grade: apply the recommended jumbo hotfix takes, plan major version upgrades with the documented path, and always snapshot the appliance first (Gaia supports snapshots) so you can roll back.
