Citrix Workspace app is the client for accessing Citrix virtual apps and desktops, deployed on many end-user devices. Citrix (Cloud Software Group) ships regular releases across Current and LTSR lines plus security fixes; as remote-access client software, keeping it current matters.

For admins the LTSR line is the calmer choice for managed fleets, with the Current line bringing features faster. Citrix components have been the subject of serious security advisories, so keep the client current and its version compatible with the server-side (VDA/Delivery Controller) — check that matrix. Roll it out and update it through software distribution, and enforce a minimum version, since outdated clients on personal devices are the classic weak spot.
