Lenovo Dock Manager is an administration tool that detects and updates the firmware of Lenovo docking stations. Instead of servicing each station by hand, distribution can be automated through existing management solutions, for example as part of an unattended rollout. For administrators this simplifies the upkeep of docks across larger device fleets.

Lenovo provides the tool as a standalone package and distributes it through the usual Windows and packaging channels. New releases appear at irregular intervals and typically add support for additional dock models along with updated firmware levels.

When updating, keep in mind that firmware updates on the dock can briefly interrupt the connection; attached devices and power supplies should remain connected during the process. Testing on individual docks beforehand and scheduling work within maintenance windows reduce the risk of disruption at workstations.
