Psono at a glance
Psono is an open-source password manager for companies and teams that can be run on your own servers. Credentials are encrypted on the client, secrets can be shared between users and groups, and sign-in can be connected to existing directories via LDAP, SAML or OIDC. Clients are available as a web interface, browser extension and mobile app.
The server is developed on GitLab and released there; container images are provided in parallel. Updates appear at short intervals and include security fixes as well as features.
Back up the database before updating the server, as versions may bring schema migrations. Server, web client and admin portal are versioned separately; update them together and check the release notes for changed settings.
