Pterodactyl Wings at a glance
Wings is the server daemon of the Pterodactyl game server panel. Written in Go, it runs on every node, starts and monitors game servers in Docker containers, manages their files and backups and provides console and statistics to the panel through a secured API.
Wings is released on GitHub separately from the panel and shipped as a single binary. New versions often appear at the same time as panel updates and regularly include security fixes, for example in file management or container isolation.
