RoboForm at a glance

RoboForm stores credentials, identities and secure notes in encrypted form and fills them into login pages through browser extensions and desktop clients. Organisations use the business edition to share credentials with groups, enforce password strength rules and revoke access when staff leave. Deployment usually runs through existing software distribution to Windows and macOS workstations.

Siber Systems ships each platform separately: the Windows client, the macOS client, mobile apps and the browser extensions are released individually while following the same major branch. Point releases arrive at irregular intervals and are often a reaction to changes in Chrome, Edge or Safari that break form filling.

When updating, check that the desktop client and the browser extension still match, because the extension is rolled out through the browser stores and can move ahead of the installed client. Before a fleet-wide rollout, verify shared folders, permissions and the link to the company account with a pilot group, and test behaviour in terminal server and RDP sessions.
