signoPAD-Tools at a glance
signotec's signoPAD-Tools are a collection of Windows programs for the vendor's signature pads. Administrators use them to set up pads, test the connection, adjust settings such as display and background images, and install firmware updates on the devices. Such pads are common in medical practices, banks, insurance companies and at company reception desks.
signotec provides the tools for download on its website; there is no machine-readable update feed. New versions appear irregularly and are usually announced in the vendor's product information.
Before updating, check which driver and firmware levels your business applications require. Firmware updates of the pads should not be interrupted. In larger environments, deploy through software distribution after testing on one workstation.
