The vendor regularly ships new major versions as well as incremental build updates that add features such as cloud integration, improved encryption, or interface refinements. Security-relevant updates often address archive-parsing logic, since vulnerabilities in extraction routines can potentially allow code execution when a specially crafted archive is opened.

When updating, administrators should verify that a valid license or active maintenance subscription covers the new version, since older licensing models do not automatically include all future updates. It is also advisable to test compatibility with existing automation scripts and shell/context-menu integrations before a broader rollout, as the user interface and command-line options can change between releases.
