Grafana Loki im Überblick

Grafana Loki ist ein Log-Aggregationssystem, das sich an Prometheus orientiert — es indiziert Labels statt Volltext und ist dadurch ressourcenschonend, oft im Verbund mit Grafana. Grafana Labs veröffentlicht regelmäßige Releases; als Log-Speicher mit potenziell sensiblen Daten verdient es Absicherung.

Für Admins läuft der Betrieb einzeln oder verteilt (microservices/simple-scalable); Updates laufen bei verteilten Setups rollierend über die Komponenten, deren Versionen zusammenpassen sollten. Vor größeren Sprüngen die Upgrade-Hinweise (Konfigurations- und Schema-Änderungen) beachten. Loki gehört hinter Auth-Proxy und ins interne Netz; die Query- und Push-Endpunkte abgesichert. Die Anbindung an Grafana und die eingesetzten Agenten (Promtail/Grafana Alloy) versionsseitig kompatibel halten. Die eingesetzte Loki-Version verfolgen.
