easybell App (Desktop Client) at a glance
The easybell App desktop client is the softphone of the Berlin VoIP provider easybell. As a software phone it integrates the easybell line or cloud phone system directly into Windows and macOS workstations, enabling calls, call pickup, forwarding, and other telephony features without a separate desk phone. It is used by companies that run their fixed-line telephony over easybell's infrastructure.
The client is maintained by the provider and distributed through the customer portal. New releases typically bring bug fixes, adjustments to changed server services, and improvements to audio quality and usability. Because telephony is a business-critical service, updated clients should be rolled out promptly.
Before an update, run a short functional test with a test account before deploying the new release widely. In environments with multiple workstations, keep the client version consistent so that all users rely on the same features and server services.
