eM Client is a desktop email client developed in the Czech Republic that combines email, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes, and chat in a single interface. In business environments it is often used as a lighter-weight alternative to Outlook while still offering full support for Exchange, Office 365, IMAP, and POP3. Sysadmins typically manage eM Client as part of standard software deployment on Windows workstations, sometimes using MSI packages or group policies for organization-wide rollouts.

The vendor releases updates on an ongoing basis, ranging from minor maintenance fixes and security patches to larger feature releases that can noticeably change the user interface or core functionality. There is no strictly fixed release cadence, with major version jumps occurring periodically alongside smaller incremental updates.
