JTL-Wawi at a glance

JTL-Wawi is an ERP and inventory-management system for online and multichannel retail in the DACH region. Merchants use it to manage product master data, stock levels, orders, shipping and returns centrally, and to connect marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay as well as their own shops. The software runs as a Windows application backed by a central database and is therefore typically part of the server infrastructure of a retail business.

JTL publishes updates continuously across a current stable branch and an older maintenance branch. Releases combine new features with regular interface adjustments and bug fixes; because JTL-Wawi runs business-critical processes, review the changelog for breaking changes to the database and integrations before applying an update. A database backup and testing outside peak hours are advisable before larger version jumps, especially when moving between major versions.
