NoSpamProxy is a German email security gateway that protects organizations against spam, malware and phishing while also providing email encryption (S/MIME, PGP), digital signatures and large-file transfer via a web portal. Sysadmins typically deploy it in front of Exchange or Microsoft 365 environments to centrally filter and secure inbound and outbound mail. Alongside the on-premises "Server" edition, a "Cloud" SaaS variant exists with its own, generally more frequent update cadence.

The vendor ships new versions at fairly regular, relatively short intervals, combining feature additions, security fixes and bug fixes. Larger version jumps can introduce changes to system requirements, such as new minimum SQL Server or Windows Server versions, as well as changes to network ports and proxy components.
