WinWorker at a glance
WinWorker is industry software for trade and craft businesses in the German-speaking region, for example in painting, landscaping or roofing. It covers quotation and invoice creation, order processing, calculation and job-site preparation, and can be extended modularly with mobile time tracking, material management and device management. The vendor is a DATEV partner, so data can be connected to accounting.
The software is updated regularly; releases bring new features, legal adjustments such as tax and invoicing rules, and bug fixes. Distribution and installation run through the vendor.
When updating, note that the database and program versions must match and that in multi-user setups an update has to be applied at every workstation as well as on the server. A backup before installation is advisable. A public, machine-readable version channel is not available; the current release is obtained through the vendor.
